I have a software which takes 2 files as input 1. For company information 2. For daily reports of the company The software then calculate mainly 4 formulas & genrate report thru grid as well as have facility to export them in excel. In output user can also make some manuplations like ...sorting by different criteria etc etc. then the final output is need to exported to the webserver thru ftp or any other method for further use. The main problem which i am facing is the time . Its taking too much time in the calculation because of huge data..there are more than 2500 companies & each company have approx 8-9 column data which is used while calculation and for each company,there is needed data of 300 rows. We need to calculate data on daily basis so its long task :( I am looking for somone experienced in VB/My SQL who can optimize the code for minimum time & space too...(if possible) so that it should calculate all the things within a minute. I will send more details to interested teams. The software is in VB & MySQl I am also open for changing the database from MySQl to anyother if required but the final output which need to upload on ftp shd be in MySql We are looking for your bid in 2 way 1. making changes in existing software 2. creating for scratch
