My name is Darryl, I volunteer at Justice High School in Lafayette, Co. Justice High serves at-risk students from the Boulder Valley School District. I am starting a photography club within the school to promote interest in photography. Students will be able to tell their story of Justice High and to enlighten the community about what Justice High is accomplishing with these students. Initially utilizing their personal cell phones, I am seeking someone to guide them through the process of transforming their pictures into mobile or pop-up galleries for libraries, schools, or various street festivals. I am looking for preferably a student who would like to enhance their skills and at the same time be able to share their knowledge to the point of being able to make inexpensive videos. I am trying to instill pride and a learning experience for these students.
A small grant of $1000 (materials, compensation, transportation, etc.) will be provided in Jan 2019 for use during the rest of that year. So the person I am seeking is someone who is building a body of work for themselves and at the same time making a valuable contribution to these students.
