Mask portion of website in a screenshare video recording

We have a website training video made a few years ago - it shows old date in one of the website sections. We want to keep using the video for training, so the date (shown as single paragraph) shown in the website news section needs to disappear (by blending completely within the background colour of the site). The section that needs to be masked does not move around the screen. The video is 12 minutes long, and the section that needs to be masked lasts for few minutes.
