I'm a Civil Engineer-CAD Technician since 5 years, thanks to two different universities. YOUR PROJECT If you have a 3D pdf, maybe converting first in .stl could be the best thing. How do you think about it? What units were used in the drawing? Meters or feets?

I work for an international buying office in Hong Kong for my full time job, so I am pretty confident that there will be no problems with communications, although I am not an expert in architectural field, but I have great passion in interior drafting especially for furniture and equipments.
