I am designing a new product based upon an existing design. I will provide the current 2D AutoCAD drawings to assist you. The product is about 4" X 4" X 2" in size and consists of a plastic cover, circuit board, and back cover. For this design, we will simulate the circuit board but we will need to have the main connectors designed and placed on the PCB so that we can see how the connectors will look when the complete system is put together. Most of my vendors have the 3D model of the connectors available, but if not, I will need you to create those parts. The deliverables from you will be the 3D part layered so I can use a viewer and check out the three parts individually or when combined in the final design. Next, I will need 2D AutoCAD drawings created for each of the parts so I can have the plastic possibly injected molded and the metal to be fabricated. I will need a 2D AutoCAD drawing for the PCB so I can show our board layout people where to position the components on the board.

Good Day, I'm an engineer with 5+ years experience designing in industry and 9+ years experience with CAD. I've designed electronics enclosures before, in fact I've just finished a raspberry pi enclosure. I would design everything in CREO (Pro Engineer) and not AutoCAD though. I hope this won't be a problem as I would still create proper drawings and export all the files you would require. Regards, Rory
