Assignment to answer some questions related to Data communications and Networking

I have a simple assignment with about 20-25 questions related to Data Communications and Networking. Some are just technical questions while others are calculations. Each output slot carries 1 bit from each digital source, but one extra bit is added to each frame for synchronization. Answer the following questions: a. What is the size of an output frame in bits? b. What is the output frame rate? c. What is the duration of an output frame? d. What is the output data rate? e. What is the efficiency of the system (ratio of useful bits to the total bits)? >> We need to use synchronous TDM and combine 40 digital sources, each of 300 Kbps. Each frame carries 1 bit from each digital source with one extra bit per each frame for synchronization. What is the output data rate? Answer needs to be in Mbps. >> We need a three-stage space-division switch with N = 100. We use 10 crossbars at the first and third stages and 5 crossbars at the middle stage.
