Platform: YOCTO linux running on ARM A9. The structure of the application: Read XML(will carry info about the address and reading frequency of data) -> Read Registers using libmodbus -> Send data using HTTP and TCP. Developer need to make it sure that libmodbus is compiled for our platform. If you can suggest a better tool then libxml, please let us know.

So basically you wan an application, developed for/runs on Yocto machine. It is interesting and I can do it. I will setup a yocto dev. platform to do the task. Relevant Skills and Experience I have worked on on Yocto: kernel configuration to produce a minimal OS good enough for embedded systems, and also developed a client-server network application that runs on the machine. Stay tuned, I'm still working on this proposal.
