Add additional functionality to open source scanning application

Have you already decided about any process of Zonal OCR system into your application?- in most of the cases, Visual 'Zone definition' process be used. May I use this process? In this process, the user need to draw a square around the area where the data field is located which they need to extract. But in case of extracting compound data fields ( First+Last Name. postal address..), data field where multiple product numbers are there, Table data and data fields with variable positions ( Invoice Totals), the Zonal OCR tends to fail. So on that case, I need t make a second planning ready. P.N: To enable Barcode scanner feature with your application, I need to make a POC. I need to run your code into local set up and will check whether it is possible or not. Please ping me to discuss further.
