3d volume creation for 2d slice stack in ultrasound

The project involves the creation of a volume ( 3d) from a series of 2d slices. the program must position the 2d slices and then determine if the voxels in a cube have been filled by any particular pixel from a 2d slice. The images come from linear array data collection and from fan shaped motion of the image set. i have included a reference paper that essentially does each of the required sub jobs. the work really has three parts that must work together to create the final volume. Please make sure you read the paper as it does work and achieves the desired results. it is primarily aimed at the use of gpu. we also want to use gpu and matlab. This job should be simple if you are skilled in matlab and technical visualization programing in matlab. When the job is awarded a data set will be provided for test use. If you have not completed similar work please do not apply. there will be no payment for partially completed work. first milestone is when each of the three section work independently if that suites you , other wish only the completed program will be used as a judge or weather the project was completed correctly or not. please make sure you are confident
