I am almost finishing my practical report in Genetics / Immunology, but I want someone to write the Methods section (Experimental Procedure) for me.
More instruction will be given after assigned.
Do not hesitate to ask me any question.
Experimental procedures Guidelines:
This should be a brief, but sufficiently complete text, to permit a qualified reader to repeat the experiments
At a minimum, is should include enough detail to allow the reader to understand the general experimental design and to be able to assess the data presented in the figures.
Only truly new procedures should be described in detail
Previously published procedures should be referenced
Modifications of previously published procedures should not be given in detail except where it is necessary to repeat the work
If western blot or gel intensity values are described in the results, validation/quantification methods must be described (Cell Press Digital Image Guidelines). This will allow verification that -
Signals are proportional to expression
Data is obtained within a linear range
Normalisation of signals accounts for technique variability
Note: data comparisons should only be made from comparative experiments, and individual data should not be utilized across multiple figures
