I have a python script that can send an sms to my cell phone. It uses the "serial" library to send raw AT commands to a USB 3G dongle with a SIMcard inside.
At the moment i'm able to control the script with a reed switch. This is in other words a "door sensor" which is triggered when a door is opened.
With raw AT commands it's also possible to read SMS from the simcard and be able to parse them. I would like to be able to control the script and enabling the door sensor loop by sending SMS with a certain pincode to the simcard. The script should be able to parse the SMS messages and choose action based on what has been sent.
I have pretty much a script ready but i'm not a developper at al.. I need help to do it :)
Hi, I am a python developer with an experience of about 5 years,I have worked with serial and AT commands and i belive that i can take up the project and finish it. I hope you select me for the work. Thanks, Varun
