I work with machine learning applied to LiDAR (light detection and ranging) data. This data is often used for topographical, or forest porpouse, and specifically I use it to measure how much wood we have in our forests. So, I think we can work on a project for testing Neural networks in forest data. What do you think?

I am currently working on management of large volumes of spatio-temporal data, in particular facility location problem and routing algorithms. The trend in this area of research is to embed a time component in network analysis. There are a vast amount of research topics to be done in this direction, including probabilistic graph analysis, distributed algorithms, network flow algorithms, clustering, predictions and routing.
