Hello,
I am a specific software developer who has a lot of experience on 2d / 3d graphics.
I can develop a web software which can take a pdf or svg file as input, and can generate extruded, combined 3d object.
The web software can work on any modern web browser. I have my own svg, pdf and 3d libraries.
Here are some steps what i can do.
1 - You can start with opening a svg/pdf file on the web software.
2 - Then software can extract extrudeable shapes and prepares a color list which available on the extracted shapes.
3 - You can select any shape using mouse by simply clicking on it, then you can assign a new color or a color from the available color list.
4 - Later, you can assign extrude amounts for each color. Software can update the results as 3d rendered in realtime ( if the computer is not too slow and shapes are not too complex )
5 - When you think that your setup is ok, you can click on "generate stl". Then it will ask you to enter a resolution. Since 2d vectors and stl meshes work different, we have to define a resolution. It is up to your requirements. low resolution generates more polygon like curves, high resolutions generate heavy stl files. You can see how the final stl file will look like on 3d rendered canvas. you can inspect and you can play with resolution to get better stl.
6 - Everything is ready. Then you can save the stl file to your computer.
I can deliver the software in 7 days without problem.
I care about quality and reliability.
Thanks,
Kadir.
