Need to create a program that scrapes price information from [login to view URL] each day and pastes the data into a googledocs spreadsheet. The data will be scraped from the same 5 hostels listed on [login to view URL] each time. The calendar day that data is scraped from will change. For example, program needs to scrape price data from each of the first 5 properties listed at the link here: [login to view URL] Program needs to click through to the "book now" page of each property and scrape the price data from each room type. Include the ability for the user (me) to switch which properties listed on hostelworld the program scrapes data from. also include the ability to change the "Arrival Date" that the program will scrape. Finally, program needs to be able to be set to run itself automatically 1x each day. Deliverables include: 1. the program/code. 2. show me how to use it Any Questions? Hello, I have alot of experiece in parsing hard sites like hostelworld. this task will require headless browser to emulate javascript. if you'll need more than 5-20 hostels scraped daily (or scrape them several times a day) - you'll need to utilize proxies to avoid banning your ip. how do you wish output prices to be presented? placing them in google doc will incur big fee as it's not a trivial thing, but if you'll be ok with downloadable csv files (than can be imported to google doc manually) or web page with recent prices - it's something that can be done within quoted price. looking forward to hear from you!

Hi i think you've an interesting project and i'd like to do it. Its an easy task and probably won't take more than 2 days. I've created a lot web scraping scripts over the years and after making some of them i realised that i need to create a module or Library of some sort to make it simpler for the next time, so as you can guess i've my custom python module that makes this job really easy for me. Plus if you'd like i can make the script push notifications to you about the data through email or on your desktop.
