Hello Dear, This issue occurs because a IPAD, IPOD does not have the hover effect of a mouse. I can easily resolve the same: I'll move the link to the sub-menu instead. Then create a custom main menu item with a “#” in the URL field. Well, I'm expert WP developer/ designer & I have worked on similar projects, So i would be quite easy to do the same again.
