I'd like help to implement a jQuery cropper on my site for the creation of avatars.
I've found this nice jQuery cropper [login to view URL] which I'd like to use on my website to create avatars.
I'd like the user to select one of my comics [login to view URL] from a drop down list (already done).
After selecting the comic: the comic's image is loaded into a cropping box (like seen here [login to view URL] ). The user selects the part of the image they wish to use as their avatar. They click Go and then the server generates an avatar jpg image based on the info provided by the jQuery cropper.
You'll need to write the script that sends the selected area info to PHP and the PHP that receives it and crops it.
So, the process/code that needs writing:
- A simple HTML/PHP page with an image and the jQuery cropper loaded
- When the user selects(crops) part of the image jQuery sends the info to PHP
- PHP then copies the image to a new folder and crops it
No where does the user upload an image or download one. I only want avatars based on my own content.
You wont have access to my server. You'll need to write this as a simplified stand alone code.
