Also possess knowledge to write shell scripts to bootstrap instance. • Implemented NAT gateways on EC2 instances to allow communication from the private instances to the internet through bastion hosts. • Scheduled snapshots to take backups of the volumes. • Used AWS Beanstalk for deploying and scaling web applications and services developed with Java, PHP etc. • Created and configured elastic load balancers and auto scaling groups to distribute the traffic and to have a cost efficient, fault tolerant and highly available environment.
