Move listings to Posts, Setup custom Fields and Template

I have recently migrated my Joomla site to Wordpress, The conversation script migrated all the listings into a listings app within Wordpress and retained the Catagories, images, Custom Fields etc. I would like to move them into posts instead of listings, I can see a tool exists for this (convert post type) however it needs to be tweaked to allow to copy to the respective catagory and also the custom fields need to be copied across.
Then finally I require the custom fields to be inserted into the template, there are 3 templates;
