Hello Everyone,
I'm creating a script and I'm not able to do one part of it. So I've decided to ask for help!!!
1) I need a php page were the user can select a folder from his computer (similar to "<input type="file" name="fotos[]" />", but selecting a folder, not a file)
2) Upload from the user's computer to the server all files from the selected folder (saving all in the folder "/imagensUpload")
I need to upload multiple files => 200, 300, 400 or even 500 files in one request, so it's not acceptable use "<input type="file" name="fotos[]" />".
Please, just offer if you know how to do it.
Hi, in a text box you'll write your folder name and I'll be able to upload all of the files of that folder to your server. Please let me know if it works for you. If it works, please let me know also which type of files your folder will contain. Thanks, Tonmay
HTML forms simply don't allow selection of multiple files in a single field. (Just think that you have never seen this anywhere on the web).
One workaround that several websites use for multi-file uploads is ask the users to zip the files, and upload that zip, which is then extracted on the server.
I could quickly write a PHP class for you to do this within your script in one line or so.
Let me know if you are interested.
