I am developing a site using Subordinate Post Type Helpers
[url removed, login to view]
Currently, the editing of the subpages appears in a thickbox. The contents of that lightbox are created in children.php.
I would like to have the lightbox to additionally display :
- any Advance Custom Fields for that post type
- any custom taxonomy box for that post type
- the Status dropdown from the "Publish" box
- Featured Image
As an alternate method from the original I have attempted to code the thickbox to use [url removed, login to view] instead of admin-post.php. I have this partially coded and am hiding the elements that I don't want in the thickbox - the admin navigation, view options, and add new link. This alternate method will require that the parent_id is saved properly.
Either solution, or any alternate would be acceptable. I just need to be able to click to add or edit the custom sub post type in a thickbox.
I don't know if it is possible, but I would also like to have the URL rewrite set up so that the subpage shows as a child of the parent. Currently the url structure of the subpage is
/child-post-type/child-post-slug/ and I would like it to be /parent-post-type/parent-post-slug/child-post-slug
I have attached the version of the subpost plugin that I am working with that defines my parent and child post types, as well as a simple XML with the posts as well as the Advanced Custom Fields settings.
I can do it for you, I've experience 5 years with wordpress , new + custom PLG , themes and more... Now, I believe I can do it good for you! Would happy if work with you !
