Create WordPress plugin

I have this one-page PHP + JavaScripts map webpage, it is like a store-locator service for small websites. All the stores, categories etc. is added in a separate application (not part of this task), so the plugin I want is basically just a wrapper around a single display-page. I could have used iframe inside a plugin, but the map is dynamic and the iframe would not behave that well during browser resize and map-update. I want it to appear native. As you can probably see in the source code, I connect to my website to get the map-locations, categories and distances using ajax, json, javascript. I also have a few PHP commands (that you can't see), so that I can limit the map-locations to only clicked category and limits the user to only see his/her locations. I'm sure I could have done this in pure javascript as well, but it kind of works. [login to view URL] What to do: - If possible, want the option to host the different script myself or distribute it with the plugin. This is because it takes some time to connect to remote websites outside my country and I want to have some control. - Get the plugin into the WP plugins repository. Once installed, it should only ask the user for a short name or a number (an ID for the website) and this ID should be passed on to my json-service (so I can provide the store-locations). Just like you can see in the source code today. - It should be possible to activate several instances in the users wordpress, where he/she can add an "map-id" in addition to their user-id. This is so that they can have maps on other pages as well. - Clean up and the javascript-code. - Set path to map in javascript (I do it now by using PHP in the script and that works good - if I don't I get problem with marker). - I don't want the json/css etc. to be called unless you are on the map-page. - Make it as conflict-secure as possible (to avoid it beeing overridden by css). Maybe change css-names? - + things that is needed to make this plugin work.
