Language education website/portal directed at refugees learning target languages of their new country.
After enrolling, subscribers should be able to access a more significant amount of the learning material that we have to offer in multiple languages.
The same will go for the phone app; one can sign up on either device for equivalent access. The accessible material will consist of audio-visual content that the site will host for the phone app. This method will ensure that the material content is not too heavy for a mobile app.
These animated visuals can be uploaded to Youtube or Vimeo and linked to the site and phone app for access. The audio-visual material is a series of animations that we will create called 'Daily Life'. The animations will consist of a series of 10 x two-minute animations in the target languages of the partner country languages. Study quizzes, PDF downloads, and questionnaires will accompany each episode.
For the password-protected area of the site, it would be advantageous to have a system of score calculation to offer levels of achievement and higher-level opportunities of learning to be made accessible.
The support languages of the website, common refugee languages that will be subtitles and translations, will not be a part of the menu languages. The menu languages will only be the European target languages of Dutch, French, Turkish, Greek, and Finnish.
The landing page and website area will be more the project description, partner organizations, mission statements, etc. We can also include some material to play with, but mainly this will be for the introduction and promotion of the project.
As we are in the development stage of the project, any suggestions for structure and logistics are open and welcome.
Hi, I understood both points and can help you fix it. We can also work on a monthly basis where I help you out in solving any bug. Let's discuss this more on private chat. Thanks
