Abandon Cart Chat bot for Facebook Messenger

Design a plugin that works with both Volusion (V1) & Facebook Messenger that serves as an abandon cart recovery bot for Facebook Messenger. When a customer adds an item to their cart on the website, it will automatically get them subscribed to a bot via a checkbox that defaults to checked in the product page. Therefore, as soon as they hit the 'Add to Cart' button they are subscribed. After the user has opted in (Subscribed), if they abandon their shopping cart, the plugin will automatically send them a reminder to finish their order through Facebook Messenger. If the shopper does not purchase, the plugin will allow us to configure the number of automated messages we would like to send over Messenger and give us the ability to decide what time the messages are sent and the option to add a coupon to the message. The solution consists of two key aspects: opting customers in on Volusion page once they ad to cart and using Facebook Messenger to send customers messages by way of a chat bot. The Chat box solution proposed should be one that is well known and reputable. The chatbot development platform should also offer pre-built and ready to deploy bots which address certain use cases (e.g., lead generation, customer support etc.) along with the ability to customize them to suit our business needs so as to handle multiple different workflows and processes pertaining to different customer interactions and our business offerings (e.g., a lead generation bot that also answers customer’s queries and replies with answers in a FAQ, document or website). The chatbot platform chosen must also offer NLP and speech support to ensure the best results when it comes to understanding user intent and replying with relevant content post-assessment. The chatbox platform should have an intuitive, web-based tool for designing, building and customizing the chatbot based on bot’s use-cases, tasks and the channels where it is deployed. It should also have the option to restart the process of developing the bot from scratch or reuse developed components along with testing the chatbot build throughout the development cycle.
