Develop MS Office plug-in

Would like to create a subscription-based plug-in for MS Office, primarily for Powerpoint and Word. What I would like to do is add-in functionality to create linked \'objects\', which can be within text boxes, tables, and charts. Once an object is created, users will have the ability to \'link\' to it, so duplicative numbers / text will automatically update throughout the document.
