We are making an app which require data and particularly news pulling from open/not closed facebook pages, twitter which are geotagged. For example If i select a city Baltimore and then further select Laurel area then all related post and twits within that area would be pulled from facebook/twitter and be formatted in XML or similar form so we can use it in the app. Catch here is that it should be pulled from high level influencer and should contain video and image beside text. In this project we will use official facebook and twitter API to pull the data.

This can be easily done using the APIs provided by Twitter and Facebook. Twitter API has many functionalities and its easy to pull out data. Facebook API provide the graph search using API. I can do this using Java. So you need a web application ? Please share more information.
