Aim: Our users are asking and answering questions in an activity stream (just like on FB). However the stream itself cannot be searched, nor is it accessible to search engines. Therefore, the best idea would be to have every post (posted on the stream of Community Builder) transposed into the databases of a forum extension, more precisely Kunena (this extension will already be installed on the test site). Kunena is readily accessible to google crawlers and can easily be searched using the in-built search engine of Kunena. Background: Kunena used to used as an extension a long time ago on the site, therefore the databases are still existing (and you can have a look at them). Please note that not all the fields inside Kunena will be filled. We only have the information that is available inside the Activity database. Anything else will just have to be left free. Things to keep in mind: • Please try to avoid as much as possible database triggers. • The database table that contains the stream is the comprofiler_activity • Each post in the activity stream needs to be a topic in Kunena, each comment needs to be a reply in Kunena.
