I would like to rebuild my current website on Wordpress. The new website must be modern, professional, be fully responsive, and highly SEO-optimized. Ideally, it will go live by end-March / beginning-April.
The new website will contain several information pages about our company, products and services. It should have a good lead generation flow and allow visitors and prospects to send in enquiries about our products and services. A new blog section should also be created for the new website.
I already have a [login to view URL] theme in mind (the demo site is here: [login to view URL]), but no specific layout or design.
New content will be created for our products and services, so I will provide in different phases slightly later.
(OPTIONALLY) If you are experienced or familiar in writing highly-optimized web copy for technical products and services (eg. disaster recovery, offsite backup, cloud services, app hosting), I am open to discussing the project separately. For this, I require someone who is highly fluent in English, and experienced in expressing techinical products/services in optimized and easily-understandable language.
Your Job:
Build the website as described above on Wordpress and to advise on any necessary back-end actions such as plugins etc. I will test the website in phases as it is being built, provide feedback and ensure that it is progressing to our plans. You can also propose the necessary milestones based on your own experience to ensure the project proceeds smoothly. If possible, I would like your help to ensure that the cut-over from the old to new website is seamless without any impact on our current SEO rankings.
Do include appropriate examples in your portfolio of business websites you have developed. You can also send web copy examples of your writing for technical products and services.
(OPTIONALLY) If things go well, I am open to retaining your services to oversee occasional back-end updates and maintenance on the Wordpress website.
