I am a great problem solver and am really good at coming up with alternative ideas when the most obvious straightforward paths aren't a viable option. As far as previous experience I was previously the webmaster for a large State agency, which included a complete redesign of their site including using Google API's to create interactive maps for users to find locations. I created a system where a user could enter a zip code and narrow down offices listed to the closest to them in each category and allowed them to view the map and get directions without ever leaving our site. I also designed the search system from scratch using JavaScript/JQuery allowing users to search the entire site for documents or just text that matched their search query and highlighted the matching text (while showing surrounding text for context).
