Clean up a Joomla site

My site, made with Joomla, was combined with another site also made with Joomla. But the work was not done properly. At a first sight. however, the site looks great and seems to be working well.
I need someone to straighten up the databases and the whole site in a way that it will work properly.
Among the problems:
Many pages cannot be reached from their titles.
The index also cannot get all the content and when a page is located clicking on it does not take the reader to the desired content, but to the homepage.
It seems there are two databases (staging and db), but only one is being used.
In the back end of the site there are a lot of entries that seem duplicated.
Site used to have thousands of comments, but the comments don't appear now.
Google is not indexing all the pages.
