1. Project Purpose Statement:
This project was initiated to enhance and add more value to our helpdesk operations. To streamline daily support processes and activities while maximizing service mobility.
2. Key Stakeholders and Other Players:
a. Customer (Merchants & Retailers)
b. Authorized support engineers (our technicians, outsourced support engineers or vendor engineers)
c. Helpdesk Agents
d. Operations team
e. Other Users
f. Admin Users
4. Inclusions & Deliverables
This project should include the following components:
a. Technician Application (TechApp) – this is a mobile application used by authorize service technicians that performs support and maintenance for our H/W Devices.
b. Customer Application (CustApp) – this is a mobile or web application which is use by customers, bank end-user and ADMIN end-users.
c. Core Application (CoreApp) – the heart of the platform that interacts between TechApp, CustApp, AdminApp, Tracking & Navigation engine and Notification engine.
d. Administrator Application (AdminApp) – a web interface that caters all types of management, user control and maintenance of application data.
e. Tracking & Navigation Engine (TNE) – this is a service engine that provides navigation and tracking for all location based services.
f. Messagine Engine (ME) – background service that provides chatting facility from TechApp, CustApp and AdminApp.
g. Notification Engine (NE) – this is a backend application that handles common notification services such as email and SMS.
The software delivery team should provide the following:
a. Screen Prototypes
b. Technical Documentation
• Solution Design and Architecture
• UI Design
• Database Design (ERD)
• Deployment Design
• Source Code
c. Unit Test Report
d. Beta Test Report
e. Final Acceptance Report
