Auto Synchronise / Merge Databases

Dear Employer, Greetings from Augurs Technologies. We are ready to do the script for you that can be executed by cron and Synchronizes Both Dbs (VPS and Local) with missing information. We however have a Query which needs to be answered , hopefully you can provide the answer to the same so that we can finalize the project ( We have pervious exp of working on School Management System and Central Db Synchronization ) Query: Is the cron to be schedule on local system ? beause if cron is set on online server and it executes and at that moment local system is shutdown cron will fail . I have been working as a System Administrator for last 8 years. This is one of the common issues I see. Luckily the solution exists in the MySQL itself. MySQL provides an advance mechanism called Replication. This means that whatever happens on One server (Master - in MySQL terms) is repeated on other/secondary server(Slave - in MySQL terms). For your problem - I can set up Cloud Database as a master server and local machine as a slave server. So all operations that happened on Master will be replicated to Slave machine. Few things to know about Replication: 1. Internet access to both machines is must 2. Replication should happens side by side 3. During replication Slave machine (your local machine) might not be accessible 4.
