Android Crowsourcing Application

The project is for a research group at a university. We need an Android (landscape tablet only) application that allows individuals and small teams to complete tasks, i.e., crowdsourcing. The developer will have to be proactive and has the freedom to design UIs and must be able to work interactively based on a fairly rough draft / scenarios / functionality specifications. Only one user uses one tablet at a time, and the idea is that a "team" is physically together when they work. So each team member has one tablet and they are logged in using the same team password. The application must support multiple teams, so there must be a login / credentials setup. Teams earn credits by completing tasks. Tasks are simply embedded web pages that communicate back to the application. The tasks are not part of this project, so we are only interested in a framework and UI that support: * Creation of new teams (name + password combination) * logging in using the team credentials * Embedding external "tasks" in a WebView * Insert values to server-side database (new teams, new users, task results from the WebView, log data, etc.) * Synchronizing data between the tablets using Google Cloud Messaging (for example, when one tablet logs in, the others transition to a "join session" stage) I am attaching a more complete (yet really rough) idea of the needed application, but as a summary it is a tablet application that is used in teams. It embeds external web pages and stores data submitted by those pages. We will be communicating a lot run-time, as we do not typically provide a very detailed in-depth design document. The external tasks are done by us and inserted manually into the database by us, so this project deals only with the Android UI and PHP + MySQL implementations.
