We have a fully functional 'Outlook Addin' prototype that already has the following functionality (refer to snapshots attached): a. Top level menu 'Preferences', clicking on which displays a form with 'Username', 'Password' and 'URL' fields. The form saves these values in the Registry when provided by the user. b. Context sensitive menus for Mail, Calendar, Contacts and Tasks. For eg: Right-clicking on an existing contact, displays a menu item called 'Add Contact' along with outlook default right-click menu items. c. Right-Clicking on an existing outlook 'Contact' or 'Task' and clicking 'Add' will send the contact/task object remotely to our web application using our HTTP-XML API. The XML adheres to our XML-HTTP API which is described in the attached document. We would like a coder to add more functionality to the addin which will attach a outlook 'Sent' email to a 'Contact' in our web application (Refer to the attached specifications for clarity). We will be providing the selected coder with the existing bug free source code and our XML API documentation. Coder can refer to existing 'Contact' and 'Task' features to establish an HTTP connection and send the required transaction information to the server. When the server receives a request, it will process the transaction and send a response back to the client. The client should handle the response appropriately. We will provide an IP address of the server to which coder can post the XML and test. The selected coder should have very good experience in Visual Basic 6.0, and should have knowledge of XML and the HTTP protocol in general. Constant status report should be provided and coder should be available on Yahoo/AIM/MSN. If any issues are there, coder should immediately contact through RAC and report them, so that action can be taken at the right time without delays
