SALES ORDER TRACKING (APPFORGE)

* Program should be developed in Appforge * Program Needs to run on Palm or Pocket PC * Purpose of program is to allow you to enter and store customer sales orders and approve credit cards. The program will have two primary screens and some other maintenance/setup screens. The two primary screens are * Customer and Item Information entry * Payment Information Screen 1 ---------------------------------------------------- * First screen has the following: Drop down list to select from a list of customers. To fill this list will need to communicate to web service which is available at: [login to view URL] ws_QuickSelectCustomers List box to select an item from inventory A Scan box for reading an item's bar code (Appforge has this type of field) Once and item is selected user should be able to easily change the quantity being ordered Price will automatically be displayed for the item based on the items table which will store the item code, upc, description, price Screen 2 --------------------------------------------------- * Second screen is the payment screen. Should show Order SubTotal Tax Amount (Setup screen for application should allow you to specify tax rate in %) Order Total (Subtotal + Tax) There should be buttons setup for different payment types. Initially we will have two payment types: (CASH, Credit Card) If user select CC then application should send the payment request to a web service to be processed: [login to view URL] use: AddInvoiceAndProcessCC This web service will return an approval or denial. If an approval is received we need to store the transaction so it can be uploaded to a database on the PC. The transaction should be assigned a unique transaction number. * Program should be able to interface to printer to print a receipt as well as interface to a credit card reader (we are working with [login to view URL]) * Send me a sample screen design for this project (if you want to win the bid this will go a long way) * Tell me what experience you have with appforge * This is the first phase of the project, we are looking to establish a long term relationship with a programmer. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform PocketPC and Palm ## Deadline information An early deliver will earn a bonus.
