block images from being shown directly in browser, or downloaded

Need something here, not sure how it'd best be implemented. Im trying to block 3 things. 1) Block images from being displayed in the browser, i.e. visiting <[login to view URL]> wont show the image. 2) Block images from being downloaded, i.e. trying to download <[login to view URL]> wont work. 3) Block images from being hotlinked, i.e. <img src="[login to view URL]"> wont show the image on another persons website. I currently have Cpanel, and know how to block hotlinking, but I wondered if there was another way to do it. I also have tried .htaccess, which seemed to work, until I tried using a script on the domain the .htaccess file was on, and the images failed to load. Basically, I have an image showing script installed on domain.com. I want it alone to be capable of showing the images, and there be no other way to see/ddownload the images. I do understand images displayed using my script, can still be right clicked on, and saved to the users computer. That is fine, I am OK with that. I also would like it if this script could be used on both a unix or windows based server. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform .jpg, .gif
