We need a seasoned coder with a strong command of Java to develop a speech recognition system based on open source CMU Sphinx. [login to view URL] We have already a transcription management system under Joomla and need to bridge it with a Speech Recognition tool The scope of the project is : #1 installing and configuring the CMU sphinx system on a server #2 developing an API to "bridge" the Speech To Text system with our audio/video file management system. When we upload an audio/video file > then the Speech recognition system processes the file and generate a transcript #3 developing an editor with transcript and audio/video file so that the user can edit and correct the transcript. for information: how to install on Windows [login to view URL] So the process is like that: (1) when a user upload an audio/video file in our transcription system (2) it is automatically transcribed by the speech recognition system via an API (3) then the user receives a notification when the transcript is ready (4) the user edit and correct the transcript

hi, I wish to proceed with this project. By reading out the description , i could understand that you want to create a separate system in java which works on speech recognition system. I have good command in java an continuously working over it for last 7 year. Thiis system will be invoked by webservice written in php , where you will be uploading an audio video file, All editing will be done at php application, for actual implementation it will call java application through rest/soap based call. if you feel me right candidate for this job, i m here for discussion. pay as u feel right.
