I'm running a wordpress affiliate site which has just been hit by a Google update. My logic tells me (and from what I have read) that Google is not loving sites with affiliate links on them, so I'm looking for a way to remove external links from the source code completely.
The only way I can think of is to put all external links through form data which the search engines won't be able to follow and hence removing the affiliate links from the source code. Can you do this?
I'm NOT looking for a script wchich simply redirects links, these are followed by the search engines and I already have one, I'm looking to remove external links from the source code so frankly, they arn't there in the eyes of the search engines.
I'm not going to accpet a generic bid on this that says "yup I can do it, heres a billion sites I have created". You need to talk to me on the personal mesage board and let me know how you propose to solve this issue for me.
Look forward to hearing from you.
