Hello everyone, Jonathan Regan here :) I have many domains, and each contains many pages. I would like you to create a script that creates small site-maps, that are inter-connected. After reading discussion forums on SEO, I have found that Google likes site-maps with less than 100 links. Your job is to convert my huge index files, into lots of little index files ... For example, I should be able to specify a location of an [url removed, login to view] (a page with nothing but lots of links), and your script will break this larger page down into many small pages. So for instance, an index page with 1,000 links, would be represented as 50 smaller site-map pages, with around 20 links on each page. I have several domains, so the script must allow me to type in the location of an existing [url removed, login to view] page, and then I should be able to specify how many links I want on each of the site-map pages. The script should then process the large [url removed, login to view] page, insuring that each link is re-represented within one of the smaller sitemap pages. The small pages should then be saved, so I can upload them onto the domain in need ... The script should also allow to me to specify a file, that contains locations of other URLs, so that when a large index file is being re-represented, each page contains several links, sourced from this location file. This will allow me to cross link several different domains (and will also allow me to connect other site-maps, residing on other domains etc) Overall, the general idea is to take large listings of pages, and then break them down into manageable pages, with around 50 links on each page. Some of these links will point to pages on the existing domain, and others to pages on other domains etc. More information will be provided as soon as the project begins. If you have any questions about me, or this idea, then please check my Scriptlance feedback. Thanks for taking the time to read this project description! Cheers, Jonathan P.S. - If you can provide a script based on some sort of template system, then this would be great. I could then create flexible mini site-map pages with ease.
