This game is space-based, with ideas taken from eveonline, runescape and tribalwars.
Each player starts with a mothership and some base units that allow for basic actions – mining, fighting, defence ,etc.
Gameplay will consist of looking for resources (mining planets, asteroids, from debris, etc), trading, and fighting other players. It will be a persistent game, with universes (game servers) added with time as current servers get filled with users.
What will make this game unique is a complex techtree that will allow for many combinations of technologies and upgrades for units, for a great diversity of outcomes. Upgrades to base blueprints will also affect units derived from them – this can be limited to a certain number, with premium members being able to go over that limit.
Another feature unique to this game will be a large research database, from where players will get random data that after decryption will either be enhancements for their current upgrades and technologies, or be useless and discarded.
Their mothership will also be upgradable, in terms or storage space, weapons, engines, radars, defense shields, etc, and each upgrade in the mothership or units will provide an improvement at the expense of something else (eg a more powerful energy core will take up more storage space).
Other features will be ability to make alliances, and to join forces with another player to take over a more powerful one, ingame messaging, forum, members profiles, a market to trade resources and buy power-ups.
