Currently we are running an auction listing generator service where sellers can create their auction listing and have them placed inside of our templates. We also offer our user image hosting for their auction photos. We would like to take our service one step further and allow sellers to post their listings directly on to eBay. the solution we are seeking would be very similar in form and function to SpareDollar.com. The basic requirements are: 1) Auction Listings: Ability to create auction listings based off of our templates as well as allowing users to use their own templates if desired. the user should be able to save a listing on our system and return to it later to finish. Listings would be posted on to eBay either immediately or the user may choose to schedule the listing to be posted for them at a later date and time. 2) Image Hosting: Users should be able to upload images into their predefined directory. Image solution should allow for a user to resize and manipulate their photos as needed. The ability to manage and organize images into groups/folders. The ability to add a description to the photo that would appear as a text caption within the users auction listing if they desire. 3) "Hit Counter": Hit Counter and simple tracking for each listing. report should show the user the Time, Date and IP for each hit on each of their listings. The report should be shown as a graph and results should be updated periodically through out each day. 4) Auction Gallery: The ability for users to include a gallery in their listings that shows the other items they are selling complete with a link to the items. The gallery should be dynamic and drop off auctions as they close and add show new listings as they are added. Each aspect of the solution obviously must work with eBay's API. Programmers who do not have previous experience working with eBay's API are discouraged from submitting a bid. We currently are using a user management/subscription system that we would like integrated into the solution. We also are running an Affiliate Program system that we would like to have work with the solution as well. Due to the fact that eBay continually makes changes, adds features, categories, etc we want to work with someone who would like to and be available to accept projects from us on a continuing basis for any necessary changes and/or enhancements this solution would require in the future.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
Our current system uses PHP and MySQL and we want to stick with that. Our server is Red Hat Linux 9.0. The solution must work on Internet Explorer for boththe Mac and PC. It also should work with Netscape and Safari.
