Chat Features Upgrade

The following new features are needed for a current script that is AJAX / PHP based. The site can be found at [url removed, login to view] . Chat rooms can be made public or private (with password protected) Chat rooms are stored in a mysql data base and have the variables public, private associated with them, as well as number of users currently in the room. This way an index of current chat rooms, public and private, would be available so individuals could join chats that may interest them. Chat rooms may also have a description associated with them. Users should be able to private message one another by clicking on the nick of the user they wish to private message. Alternatively they should be able to vote to kick, ban, ignore said user. A way to make permanent chat rooms from an administration section. Within these permanent chat rooms, a designated moderator could have various controls within the chatroom. Window flashes when a message is received and the window is blurred. Allow context of the chat to be pulled for advertising These features can be altered. ## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
