Hi, my name is Denise and I am attempting to teach myself java because I just don&'t have the available time to take classes at the local college. I have purchased and have been reading “Introduction to Java” by Daniel Liang, but I have been unable to accomplish the following in spite of several attempts over the past three weeks. Does anyone have a sample of code that will accomplish this beginner level program? I need the complete program, i.e. source code, etc. as is generated using jbuilder Enterprise, so I can compare, line by line, and discover where my errors are. It is a very simple program for anyone knowledgeable in java.

Here is my dilema:
I am trying to learn how to correctly write a java code to find the minimum and the maximum of all integers, stored in a file named "[url removed, login to view]". How do I create a "File" object and use random generator to generate 1000 random integers between 1 to 100, and then write these values to the file "[url removed, login to view]"?
The program should write 10 elements per line (record), each separated by a comma and a new line at the end (as a record separator), to the file num.csv. Thus, [url removed, login to view] should have 100 records, each record contains 10 elements (field) and each element (field) is separated by a comma and ends with a new line.
I need to use two threads to access this File object and find the minimum and maximum of all the integers stored in this file.
Then, to optimize my running time, I need to use the RandomAccessFile class to find the midpoint of the file, then assign one thread to read the upper half of the file and the other thread to read the other half of the file, without synchronization.
Finally, I need to Tokenizer the data and find the min and max of the integers.
