I need a simple interactive christmas card which will run from a CDROM on Windows PCs. It should have a single window with a picture of santa's sleigh with reindeer, elves, santa etc with some trivial animation (e.g. things jiggling up and down). When you move the mouse over different areas, speech bubbles will pop up with various christmas jokes. Also on the page will be a christmas message, company logo, slogan and phone number and an 'EXIT' button/link. No audio required.
If you can think of more exciting things you can easily do (e.g. little bits of animation triggered by mouseovers, like presents falling off the sleigh) then feel free to add them, but I don't want the cost to rise too much so don't go overboard.
The company logo will be provided, but it is up to you to either create all the other images required or you can use existing public domain images if you can find suitable ones. Please state which you plan to do and provide samples of your work or of the kind of image you plan to use. Christmas jokes and other specific wording required will be supplied.
I need this done ASAP, so be aware that I am likely to accept a bid before the bid close date if I get my account verified!
## Deliverables
1) Christmas card executable/animation as described above. Any existing images used should be in the public domain, and any images you create specially you should place in the public domain (so, if you want to you can keep and re-use any images you create).
2) If item 1 is not natively executable on Windows PCs, you must also supply an executable program or batch file which launches it. When saved onto CDROM, items 1 and 2 between them must result in the ability to quickly and simply launch the christmas card on any PC running windows 98 or higher, without requiring complex installation procedures or administrator privileges.
3) Complete source code (where applicable)
4) Separate copies of all images used. You should provide me with initial copies of the images you plan to use within 24 hours of your bid being accepted so I can start using them to create related material.
## Platform
Windows 98 and higher.
The choice of software (e.g. standalone executable, flash, etc) is up to you, but it must run on a variety of Windows PCs straight from the CDROM with no special installation required. Please say in your bid what you plan in this respect.
Flash animation with the Flash player included on the CDROM under the standard Macromedia agreement may be OK as long as it gives the impression of "just working", regardless of whether flash is already installed on the PC. Please specify in your bid any situations where the animation would not run straight from the CDROM on pretty much any Windows PC with Win98 or higher.
