Video Tagging Online Portal

This project is to develop an online video tagging portal that allows registered users to upload and archive their videos, tag videos (at the video and frame level) and share their videos with other registered "friends". The online portal interfaces to automatic face-tagging software (which has already been developed). ## Deliverables The project deliverables will include: * Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done * Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition: a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). * Sellers must provide documentation on how to install the deliverables and how to extend them in the future. The online portal would have the following functionalities: **Registration of users:** * Free user registration (users have to agree with disclaimer) * User log-in * Password retrieval * View account information * View site usage statistics **General website information** * About the portal (what is it, objectives) * How it works * Contact information **Uploading videos:** * Upload videos (browse video (only DivX avi files shown, upload button) * Mark videos for automatic tagging * View automatic tagging status (has the video been processed by the face-tagging software or not) * Explore uploaded videos * Organize uploaded videos (into subfolders) **Viewing / tagging videos** * Mediaplayer view: drag a video into player, play a video (play/stop, pause, rewind, forward) * Timeline view: drag a video into timeline, view as frames (see Adobe Premiere’s timeline view) * Tag a video (from dropdown list, or add new tag) * Tag frames in a video (from dropdown list, or add new tag) * View tags in timeline view * View tags in playback view * Search for videos with certain tags, date stamps * Log site usage statistics (frequency of portal usage, frequency of upload, number of tags per user, number of friends per user) **File sharing functions:** * Each user has a “friends?? list * Registered user may search for “friends?? * Registered users may add friends * Registered users may delete friends from their list * Users may share videos with specific friends * Friends may have tagging permission **For administrators** * View account information * See videos that are marked for automatic tagging * Import tags for a video * Search for videos of tags * View friend lists * View site usage statistics * Give administrator the option to get notified (via email) when a video that is marked for automatic tagging gets uploaded * Notify administrator when videos that are marked for automatic tagging * Allow administrators to update automatic tagging status of videos **Database** * User information (UserID, first name, last name, gender, email address, diagnosis (optional)) * Video archive (video ID, video file name, owner, length of the video, video creation date, video upload date, marked for automatic tagging, automatic tag complete, shared with ..) * Tags (tag ID, tag name) * Video tags (video ID, tag ID, start frame, end frame, tagged on DATE, tagged by USER ID) * Friends list (UserID1, UserID2, added on DATE) **Tags** * Any registered user may create a tag category * All users may view and use existing tag categories (not just the ones they added) **NOTES: 1- The graphics design of the portal is included in this project (**the sitemap, the layout, the themes, and the logo) ## Platform * Server runs Windows XP (should also work on Linux Clients runs Internet explorer or Mozilla Firefox
