COMPUTATIONAL GEOMETRY DLL - PHASE 2

We need to upgrade an existing computational geometry dll which we use as a COM object called by server-side scripting (VBScript ASP). Existing library was written in C++ and full source code will be available for this job. In fact, some of the new functions required may take advantage of existing functions. Also, existing functions have been successfully tested to be compliant with input/output data structure. _Required functions are: _a) BOUNDING BOX b) CIRCLE INSIDE POLYGON c) CLUSTERING NON-CONVEX HULLS d) POLYGONS MERGE e) POLYGONS INTERSECTION f) POLYGONS ADJACENCY g) VORONOI DIAGRAM INSIDE POLYGON **_Please read carefully the attached documentation._** It contains: a) General specifications on input/ouptut data structures (single- and multi-dimensional arrays). b) Detailed specifications about each required function, with special regard to particular cases. c) Sample Access database with real-life polygons. d) Sample database readme textfile. e) Item list of available source code. **_Please DO NOT bid unless you are really serious about completing this job._** The amount of effort on your side can vary greatly depending on your background. If you are not familiar with ActiveX development AND with computational geometry AND with the underlying algorithms this project can become very frustrating on both sides. Required functions and underlying algorithms are well known and documented. Showing in your bid you already have in mind which algorithms to use will greatly enhance your chances. Please note that no external dependencies should be made. We know there are a number of commercial/GPL/etc. libraries out there that do a number of the things required here. If that were what we were looking for, we wouldn't be posting this bid. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). 4) Testing page(s) (ASP - server side VBScript) which a) instantiate the object b) format input appropriately c) call each function d) Present output.
