21901 RSS Feed from joke database

I need an RSS 2.0 feed, with the contents pulled directly from my database. I'm running PHP 4.4.1. I have a basic feed using the Feedcreator class, but it isn't exactly what I want. ------------------- 1. Feed must validate, of course... 2. Feed should build on the fly when called. I can't seem to get cron jobs to work properly. 3. PHP feed generator should be customizable via passed URL queries I want to be able to call the feed via this method: [url removed, login to view] The database has a fairly straightforward setup. I will need to be able to customize the feed URL so that I can call things like: [url removed, login to view] Would bring up jokes in category 14 [url removed, login to view] Would bring up jokes in any category WHERE clean = true [url removed, login to view] Would bring up jokes in category 3 WHERE clean = false 4. Feed does not need any media, just a joke title as the item title, a truncated version of the joke as the description, and of course the appropriate URL for the link 5. Demo required 6. Database structure available 7. Script should use external [url removed, login to view] which will be located at ../../connect/[url removed, login to view] relative to the site root. 8. Unless you intend for this to go in a subfolder, try to avoid overly common filenames like [url removed, login to view] to avoid potentially having multiple files with the same filename. That said, it would be better to house the script as such: [url removed, login to view] That will easily eliminate some potential issues. 9. This is just a simple PHP-generated RSS feed, not a MMPRGP or the cure for cancer, so bid acordingly. Overly high bidders will be ignored, and likely not be considered for my future projects. Jake
