63301 Micropayment Site Design

[login to view URL] is a recently launched micropayment service that allows websites to charge anything from 1c to $2 per click. It is already heavily used within the adult industry and is starting to make progress in non-adult markets. Although the unique technical operation of the site is complete and protected by several patents, it still uses the original web design that was knocked together during the development phase. We need a full makeover of the website from a design / layout point of view. The project will involve proposing a number of potential "looks" and layouts for the site, being guided by our input but using your creative flair. We'll then choose the best out of these and want it built up to generate the pages as described below. The design brief is to create a look that is extremely professional and slick, reassuring potential customers that this is a solid outfit that they can trust their money to. We would expect you to provide several iterations until the chosen design is right, however you will find us reasonable and experienced when it comes to honing the design. When the design is right, the deliverables will comprise front and inner page layouts, style sheets, and working navigation. We will also need the design to include styles and samples for form entry (eg the signup page) and grids of information on inner pages. You are not however required to integrate this with our aspx pages, or build the forms/grids etc, we'll take your design and put all our content and dynamic pages into it. We want to keep the basic logo more or less as it is, but would anticipate some rework or stylisation of the logo may be required to suite the new style of the web site. The site must be fast loading (it is accessed by surfers when they click on many high-volume merchant sites to make payments). It also must be widely compatible on Netscape and IE back to 5.5, Opera etc and on the Mac.
