PLEASE NOTE - I wll onlt create 10% milestone payment at the start of the project and with the progress I wll create full milestone payment. as the project wll get done you wll get paid 100% amount. Requirement I am looking to create on line QR code generator and assist tracking web that can integrate with Autotask ([login to view URL]). I want to create a QR with asset details and then track it's location by scanning it from iPhone or Android. Then record it's location in a database and push the latest location in Autotask Configuration Item details. Our understanding So far i got the impression that your customer want to track his assets, for that he follow some process which is defined in autotask.com. To track his assets he want to create QR code for his assets. He wants when someone scan QR code of the asset using iphone and android, its location get updated in [login to view URL], for that autotask will provide the api. Our approach We have a database with website which will have following things: 1. Assets details database – a form creating asset and its QR code generation. 2. Assets location database - A webservice for updating Assets, this will be called from iphone and android app. 3. API to update [login to view URL] asset information and location from this database to [login to view URL] – here is a sample code for updating information in autotask. Sample code: [login to view URL] 4. Userid password maintenance of the people using apps. Website will have following pages: Login page admin will login and do following things: Create Assets and their QR code Admin should be add edit delete and see a list of all assets Create app users and their passwords Admin should be add edit delete and see a list of all users Admin can change his password etc. Admin maintain [login to view URL] userid credential used to push data in [login to view URL] website, just in case if you change the password in [login to view URL], you will change in this application also so that apps will run smoothly. Iphone App, Andoid android App User Login Scan QR code Call webservice to update location to server database and trigger autodesk push Show a list of all assets scan list will keep the data for current day. If you don’t want it we can remove, but it will be a good idea to know how many QR code scanned by one phone. User will be able to clear the history any time. I want something like it so I have a history of movement. Autotask only needs the latest location. For Autotask API help you can check it [login to view URL] Our Comments: This website generate trackable QR code, if you generate QR from this website, each QR code is a url, when phone scan QR code and then open url, the webserver gets the IP address of the phone, since website can track IP address, you need to buy the database to convert IP address to Lat Long, still you will not get the exact location. But if you develop iphone and android app which we proposed app will access the GPS location of the phone and give the accurate position on the asset.
