I am trying to build a MS access scheduling database which uses past encounter information to estimate the length of a future appointment for scheduling. It is based off something I saw at a conference (PDF attached). I have attempted to build this myself, but a having trouble getting it to work correctly.
Build/Fix a MS access scheduling database that uses past encounter information to estimate the length of future appointments.
-Take existing non-working database and make it function like what is presented in the PDF.
-Database interface should have 4 tabs as shown in PDF.
-Database interface needs to be built in MS access application. I need to be able to modify the interface and the tables over time with MS Access.
-Build the tab which displays the schedule (today, tomorrow, this month, custom)
-Fix the Schedule an Appointment page and finish its build. It needs to open without an field populated for data entry. The entry items driving the query for estimating procedure time are Procedure, Inpatient? (Yes/No), and Labs needed (Yes/No).
-Build the Delete appointment and Enter Procedure info tabs.
Note: The attached access DB queries the schedule table, which contains both the scheduling and encounters information. The Procedure Data Form (Encounters) is there as an example of how it should look, but references the Encounters Table, which is currently redundant.
