Background: using some form of piezoelectric actuators or servo motor (attach some soft material on the motor shaft, when the motor shaft turns, it create additional damping force and freq change) to reduce the vibration active vibration. Task: Design a PID controller to give a control signal to the actuator to damp/reduce the vibration based on the sensor input. This is a “closed-loop “system design. You need to perform a simple simulation only; preferably using Matlab simulink. Note: More details will be given if you are interested with this project.
